The Best Magazine for Women in their 30′sfrom September 20th, 2011
My schedule and that of every other thirty-something-year-old woman juggling the demands of family and career leaves little room for leisure activities such as reading but there is one magazine I make time for every month, Better Homes and Gardens (BHG.) BHG provides articles and advice on decorating, cooking, building, crafts and gardening along with family and women-s issues.
I got my first subscription to Better Homes and Gardens more than ten years ago and the magazine-s influence can be found in every room of my home. BHG articles are written by experts but are easy to understand. Step-by-step instructions and pictures are included for each project. BHG focuses on the average family so budget is always a consideration and expenses are clearly listed.
Over the years Better Homes and Gardens has been well worth the cost of the subscription. Some of my family-s favorite recipes have come from BHG and I still frequently make the lemon-crusted chicken featured in a 2001 issue. I-ve used many of the magazine-s decorating tips with great results. From BHG I learned that sometimes just changing the color of one wall or adding a few bright throw pillows can change the entire look of a room.
